Address the questions customers have already asked

When customers find a company through AI search, they may have already read a brief answer but still be unsure whether the company actually provides the services they need. Once they reach the website, its pages should help them verify the company's identity, understand its specific capabilities, and decide whether a further conversation is worthwhile.

Drawing on CES's public discussions of trust and transparency in intelligent content, this article offers independent recommendations for website content. How different tools present answers and links may change, and companies cannot guarantee that their content will be cited.

Make the company's identity and business clear at a glance

Display the company name, core services, intended customers, and contact details prominently. Descriptions should reflect the actual business. Where multiple legal entities or service regions are involved, clarify who provides which services.

If visitors arrive directly on an article or a service detail page, do not assume they have seen the homepage. Provide recognizable brand navigation and a link to information about the company, without repeating a lengthy company profile on every screen.

Concise titles and summaries should accurately describe the page's content. Avoid relying solely on abstract slogans or filling the page with industry jargon. When technical concepts are necessary, explain them in plain language and provide resources for further reading.

Provide enough service information to support a decision

Service pages can explain relevant use cases, what work is included and excluded, the collaboration process, information customers need to provide, and deliverables. When timelines and pricing vary by project, explain the factors involved and how to obtain a specific proposal, rather than inventing standard figures.

Product information should specify models, key specifications, and conditions of use. Clearly identify capabilities that have not yet been verified and features that are not currently supported. When customers need a professional assessment, direct them to the appropriate person.

Different readers need different levels of detail: first-time visitors may start with a brief overview, while procurement staff may need the full scope and terms. Use layered content and clear links to provide detail while keeping pages easy to browse.

Make evidence and sources traceable

Company profiles, qualifications, client case studies, and performance data should be checked by the responsible person, with permission to publish confirmed where necessary. When citing external research, identify the source and date, and distinguish external findings from the company's own views.

Avoid fabricated case studies, customer testimonials, or unverified rankings. For information that may change, such as office locations and product versions, state where and when it applies and arrange regular reviews. A page's update date should reflect an actual check or revision, rather than merely making the content appear fresh.

For former names or abbreviated names that may appear in external search summaries, companies can explain the actual relationship between those names and the periods in which they apply on their company information page. If different companies or affiliated entities are involved, identify each separately to help visitors verify that they have found the right company. Do not publish unconfirmed affiliations as facts.

Design the next step and keep reviewing

After answering a question, provide links to relevant services, case studies, FAQs, or inquiry channels, with link text that explains their purpose. Inquiry forms should collect only the information needed to address the request and clearly confirm the submission status. Pages should also be easy to read and use on mobile devices.

Invite people unfamiliar with the company to enter the site from search results and try to determine what the company does, whether it suits their needs, and how to get in touch. Record the information they cannot find, then make adjustments using that feedback alongside feedback from actual inquiries. Traffic and clicks can support evaluation, but cannot by themselves demonstrate customer trust or sales.

Qingmei Future can help organize content and improve the website experience; the company's responsible personnel must confirm business facts, permissions, and final service commitments.
