Seeds of the Night
Oneiric Herbarium
About this study
Three oversized seed capsules open on a plum-coloured table, revealing tiny luminous gardens. Terracotta, dusty lavender and mint illuminate one another in the dark. Stippled details and dry brush turn botanical growth into a slow nocturnal narrative.
Research into botanical silhouettes, stippling and layered pictorial space becomes an invented seed archive, moonlit aperture and stream of light. Subject, composition and palette are redesigned through AI-assisted generation.
