A Galaxy in a Drawer
Old Objects & Accidental Images
About this study
A cropped glass drawer knob becomes an icy planet at the left, with celadon and milk-white knobs and an aged copper pull scattered diagonally. Direct flash turns dust, scratches and refraction into unfamiliar terrain. Pale-yellow arcs and burgundy marks sketch an incomplete constellation across the photographic surface.
Awkward secondhand crops, flash and handmade marks become drawer knobs, a copper pull, diagonal placement and constellation traces. The coloured climbing-hold grid and source objects are replaced in an AI-assisted found-object photographic collage.
