This project is designed for Alibaba Cloud (Alibaba Cloud) web page and multi-terminal visual system, aiming to jointly build the brand temperament of the platform with the technical strength of global cloud computing and the enabling value of enterprise digital transformation.
The design goal is to present the platform's brand characteristics of "computing, for incalculable value" through systematic visual structure and technical narrative.
The overall theme is "Everything you need, a powerful Al cloud platform", integrating the power of technology and the depth of services, demonstrating the technical landscape and enterprise empowerment value of Alibaba Cloud as the world's leading cloud computing and artificial intelligence platform.
design challenge
Alibaba Cloud is not only the global leader in cloud computing infrastructure, but also the core technology partner for enterprise digital transformation. The design needs to achieve the following balance in the visual language: Technical sense × Commercial sense: It must not only reflect the cutting-edge technology of cloud computing and AI, but also convey the commercial value of enterprise-level services; Professional sense × Ease of use: It must not only maintain the professional depth of the technology platform, but also show the convenience and friendliness of product use; Global sense × Local sense: It must not only continue the visual pattern of international cloud vendors, but also integrate the industry understanding of Chinese enterprises. The core challenge is - how to make the design have both technical depth and commercial warmth, so that the platform has both technical authority and service resonance.
Strategy and philosophy
The project takes "the power of technology and the value of transformation" as its core design concept. Visual philosophy: Based on the dual-line logic of "coexistence of technology and empowerment" as the visual basis, it reflects the power of computing and the depth of services; Structural logic: Adopts an enterprise-level cloud platform layout system to organize products and services in layers to form a multi-dimensional structure of "product-solution-industry-case"; Color system: Alibaba Cloud Orange + Technology Blue + Deep black is the main color, supplemented by data visualization and global network diagrams, symbolizing vitality, technology and trust; graphic language: integrating cloud abstract graphics, AI fluid gradients, data nodes and global maps to establish a "visual system under the technical order"; interactive expression: introducing free trials, developer tools and industry solutions, so that the platform has both technical depth and commercial transformation. Core concept: Use visual technology to present computing power, and use industry solutions to continue empowering value.

Home page design: The main color is a deep black background and a technological blue gradient/pure white background and dual versions of AI fluid graphics, reflecting technology and professionalism; "Computing, for incalculable value"/"Everything needed, a powerful AI cloud platform" is used as the visual focus at the top, supplemented by core data (5 million+ enterprise users, 99.99% SLA guarantee, 180+ country coverage); the navigation adopts product, solution, developer, document, community and other functional categories to convey the full-scenario cloud service pattern. Content logic: 1. Core value proposition; 2. Why choose Alibaba Cloud; 3. Global infrastructure; 4. Financial-grade security; 5. Industry solutions (finance, retail, manufacturing, medical and health); 6. Customer success stories.
Multi-scenario design: Responsive structure: The corporate official website, entrepreneur zone and developer platform are seamlessly connected, forming a "know × use" rhythm; Product design: Present the cloud infrastructure matrix with core products such as elastic computing ECS, object storage OSS, cloud database RDS, and artificial intelligence platform PAI; Image language: Use multi-style content presentation of data centers, corporate offices, and entrepreneurial scenarios to convey professionalism and trust; Developer page: Introduce cloud development platforms, APIs and SDKs, and developer communities to express the ecological value of technology. Technology and experience: Using 200+ regions + 1000+ data centers around the world; real-time data display (584,930,221 data processing volumes today) to ensure the visual presentation of technical strength. The overall style reflects "the depth of technology × the breadth of services × the height of trust".
Achievements and Impact
As the official visual system of the platform, this design is widely used in global official websites, industry solutions and developer communities to reach enterprises and developers. Through the integration of technical logic × business narrative × brand order, the design successfully created the visual image of Alibaba Cloud as "both technical authority and service warmth". The project is considered by the platform to be "one of the visual systems with the most technical depth and commercial transformation potential" and has become the core blueprint for Alibaba Cloud's global multi-terminal experience design.
